Introduction

KICKLIVE CORP. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Show Me the Star, including its website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Show Me the Star allows users to upload videos and other content, create AI-generated artist personas, generate music, audio, music videos, short-form videos, and other creative content, share content, purchase and use Credits, and support creators through the Service.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the Service.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent or another legal basis for processing, we will rely on the appropriate legal basis rather than treating use of the Service alone as consent to every processing activity.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service.

1.1 Account and Profile Information

When you register for or use the Service, we may collect:

If you sign in through a third-party authentication provider, such as Google or Apple, we may receive authentication and account information that the provider makes available to us, subject to your settings and the provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.

1.2 Uploaded Videos, Images, Audio, and Other Content

We collect and process content you upload, submit, or create through the Service, including:

Uploaded and generated content may contain personal information about you or other people, including identifiable images, voices, names, and other identifying characteristics.

You should upload content containing another person only when you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis required for the intended use.

1.3 Facial Features, Voice Information, and AI Processing

When you upload a video, image, or audio recording to generate or customize an AI artist or other content, we and our third-party service providers may process visual, facial, voice, and audio characteristics contained in that material.

Depending on the feature, this processing may include analyzing facial characteristics, appearance, hairstyles, expressions, voice characteristics, or other attributes necessary to generate or transform content. Certain features may include voice cloning, text-to-speech generation, face swapping, or other AI-based transformations.

The processing of a person's face or voice does not necessarily constitute the processing of biometric data under every applicable law. However, certain processing activities may qualify as biometric-data processing or involve sensitive personal information under applicable laws.

We do not use uploaded facial or voice information for identity authentication unless we specifically introduce such a feature and provide the disclosures and legal basis required by applicable law.

Some third-party providers may retain audio recordings, voice samples, voice models, or related materials to provide their services. Further information about third-party processing and retention is provided in Sections 3 and 5.

You should not upload another person's image, video, or voice for AI generation unless you have the necessary authorization and may lawfully use that material for the intended purpose.

1.4 Generated Content and Artist Information

We collect and store Generated Content and related information as necessary to provide the Service.

This may include generated music, lyrics, scripts, music videos, short-form videos, AI artist personas, artist names, generation settings, prompts, content titles, and associated metadata.

Depending on your settings and actions, your artist profile or generated content may be displayed to other users or made publicly accessible.

1.5 Credits, Purchases, and Fan Support

When you purchase Credits, use Credits to generate content, or use Credits to support creators, we may collect:

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other payment mechanisms made available through the Service.

We may receive transaction identifiers, purchase confirmations, subscription status, and other information necessary to verify purchases, manage Credit balances, provide purchased features, and address payment-related issues.

Payment card details and other payment information may be collected and processed directly by the relevant app marketplace or payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

Super Credits currently function as internal platform credits that may be used for eligible content-generation features. The Service does not currently offer cash redemption of Super Credits.

1.6 Device, Usage, and Technical Information

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:

We use this information to operate the Service, troubleshoot problems, understand usage, improve functionality, and protect against fraud and security threats.

1.7 Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and, where applicable, other parts of the Service may use cookies and similar technologies, including software development kits (SDKs) and local storage.

These technologies may support authentication, security, preferences, analytics, diagnostics, and other functions.

Where required by law, we will obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

You may be able to control certain technologies through your browser, device settings, or available privacy controls. Disabling certain technologies may affect Service functionality.

1.8 Communications and Support Information

If you contact us, submit a complaint, report content, or participate in a survey, we may collect your contact information, the contents of your communication, attachments, and information needed to respond.

We may also retain records of our responses and related support activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information described above for the following purposes, subject to applicable law.

2.1 Providing and Operating the Service

We use information to:

2.2 Maintaining and Improving the Service

We may use technical information, usage records, feedback, and other information as reasonably necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service.

We use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, MusicAPI, Fal.ai, and Fish Audio, to provide features such as text generation, music generation, image and video generation, speech processing, voice cloning, and text-to-speech.

Depending on the provider and the feature used, these providers may retain or otherwise process prompts, uploaded media, audio recordings, voice samples, and generated outputs for limited or longer periods in accordance with their respective terms, privacy policies, technical configurations, and service arrangements. Such processing may be necessary to provide the requested features, maintain security, prevent misuse, operate the providers' services, or improve their services and technologies.

We do not represent that all third-party AI providers delete submitted information immediately after processing, anonymize all information before processing, or exclude all submitted information from every form of service or model improvement. The applicable data handling practices may differ among providers and services.

Where a provider's terms permit certain uses of submitted information or information derived from it for service or model improvement, those uses may occur subject to the provider's applicable terms and policies. The extent to which information may be used to train or improve underlying AI models may depend on the provider, the specific service, and any applicable contractual arrangements.

We do not independently guarantee the data retention, deletion, anonymization, or model-training practices of third-party providers. We encourage you to review the applicable policies and terms of those providers, as described in Section 3.1.

2.3 Safety, Security, and Fraud Prevention

We may process information to:

2.4 Communications

We may use your contact information to send service-related notices, account notifications, security alerts, transaction confirmations, policy updates, and customer support responses.

Where required by law, we will obtain consent before sending promotional communications and provide an appropriate method to opt out.

2.5 Legal Compliance

We may process information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, exercise or defend legal claims, and meet our contractual and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information to third parties for money. We may disclose or make information available in the following circumstances.

3.1 Service Providers and Technology Partners

We use third-party service providers and technology partners to operate Show Me the Star and provide its features. Depending on the features you use, these providers may process personal information, uploaded content, prompts, audio recordings, images, videos, account information, device information, and transaction-related information as described below.

Google Firebase and Google Cloud. We use Google services, including Firebase and Google Cloud, for authentication, account management, database storage, file storage, server-side processing, website hosting, and push notifications. Information processed through these services may include account identifiers, profile information, uploaded media, generated content, application data, technical logs, and device or notification identifiers.

Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may provide us with authentication and account information in accordance with your settings and Google's applicable terms and privacy policy.

Apple. We use Sign in with Apple for authentication where selected by users and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver push notifications. Depending on the feature, Apple may process authentication information, account identifiers, device tokens, and notification-related information.

OpenAI. We use OpenAI services for certain AI-powered features, including prompt, lyric, script, and text generation, conversational functionality, and speech-to-text transcription. Depending on the feature, information sent to OpenAI may include text prompts, lyrics, scripts, conversation inputs, and audio recordings submitted for transcription.

Based on the API terms and settings identified for our use, OpenAI does not use API inputs and outputs to train its models by default. However, inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, subject to applicable exceptions and service terms. Zero Data Retention is subject to separate approval, and we do not represent that such approval or a Zero Data Retention configuration is in place for our account.

MusicAPI. We use MusicAPI (musicapi.ai) to generate music and support voice-persona features. Information submitted for these features may include prompts, lyrics, audio inputs, voice-related information, and generation settings.

MusicAPI's terms state that customer materials will not be used for training without explicit consent. Information may be deleted approximately two weeks after a deletion request, subject to the applicable terms and processing requirements. We have not independently verified whether every underlying music-generation engine or subprocessor follows the same training practices.

Fish Audio. We use Fish Audio (fish.audio) for voice cloning and text-to-speech functionality. Depending on the feature, information processed may include text inputs, audio recordings, voice samples, and voice-generation settings.

Voice-cloning functionality may require voice models or related materials to be stored to provide the requested service. Depending on the applicable service terms and account configuration, customer materials may also be used to provide or improve Fish Audio's services. We do not represent that an enterprise Zero Data Retention arrangement or equivalent restriction is in place for our account.

Fal.ai and AI Model Providers. We use Fal.ai as an infrastructure and generation service for certain AI image and video features. Depending on the generation workflow, the models used may include FLUX for image generation, Alibaba Wan for video generation, MiniMax for music-video generation, Kling for certain video-generation workflows, and Easel AI for face-swapping functionality.

Information processed may include uploaded images and videos, reference media, prompts, audio, and other inputs necessary to generate the requested output.

Fal.ai may retain request inputs, outputs, and associated CDN files under its default service configuration. Generated files may remain available for at least approximately seven days, depending on the applicable service and configuration. Zero Data Retention is not enabled by default, and we do not represent that it is enabled for our integration.

Under Fal.ai's applicable terms, certain aggregated or anonymized usage data derived from Customer Input may be used to improve its services and AI models. We have not independently verified the data retention or model-training practices of every underlying model provider used through Fal.ai.

The specific model or provider used may vary depending on the feature, availability, and generation workflow. These model names identify technologies used through the relevant service and do not necessarily mean that we have a direct contractual relationship with each model developer.

Apple App Store and Google Play. We use Apple and Google Play in-app purchase systems to process purchases and subscriptions. These platforms may process transaction identifiers, purchase records, subscription status, and related billing information. We may receive information necessary to verify purchases, manage entitlements, and maintain Credit balances. Payment card details and other payment information may be processed directly by the relevant platform under its own terms and privacy policy.

YouTube and TikTok. If you choose to submit a YouTube or TikTok video URL for use as reference material, we may access or retrieve information or video material associated with that URL to the extent supported by the relevant integration and permitted by applicable law and the platform's terms. The relevant platform may independently process information about your access to or use of its services.

Other Service Providers. We may use additional service providers for customer support, security, communications, diagnostics, and other operational functions. We will process and disclose information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The information processed by each provider depends on the feature used and the relevant technical integration. Providers may process information under their own privacy policies and contractual terms. Depending on their role, they may act as our service providers or process certain information independently.

Provider terms, product features, retention practices, and account settings may change over time. The descriptions above reflect the information available to us when this Privacy Policy was prepared and are subject to the providers' applicable terms and configurations.

3.2 Other Users and the Public

If you publish content, create a public artist profile, or use sharing features, we may display your selected profile information and content to other users or the public.

Publicly shared content may be viewed, copied, downloaded, or redistributed by others, depending on the available functionality and the settings of the relevant platform.

Please consider carefully what you choose to publish or share.

3.3 Legal Obligations and Protection of Rights

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

We will handle such requests in accordance with applicable law.

3.4 Business Transactions

If KICKLIVE CORP. is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, bankruptcy, or sale or transfer of all or part of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

3.5 With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information where you direct us to do so, authorize a particular disclosure, or where another lawful basis permits the disclosure.

4. International Data Transfers

KICKLIVE CORP. is based in the Republic of Korea and provides Show Me the Star to users in multiple countries. To operate the Service, we use third-party providers that may process information in the Republic of Korea, the United States, and other countries, depending on the provider, feature, and technical infrastructure.

These providers may include Google and Google Cloud, Apple, OpenAI, MusicAPI, Fish Audio, and Fal.ai, as well as other technology providers involved in the AI models and services described in Section 3.1.

When you use a feature that relies on a third-party provider, information necessary to provide that feature may be transmitted to or processed by the provider in accordance with the applicable integration.

The categories of information transferred may include account identifiers, uploaded videos and images, audio recordings, voice samples, text prompts, lyrics, scripts, generated content, technical information, and purchase-related records, depending on the feature used.

The purposes of these transfers include account authentication, cloud storage, content generation, voice processing, transcription, purchase verification, push notifications, security, and operation of the Service.

The countries in which information is processed, the specific recipient entities, and the retention periods may vary by provider and feature. We will provide additional details where required by applicable law.

Where applicable law requires a specific legal basis, notice, consent, contractual safeguard, or other protection for an international transfer, we will take the measures required by that law.

You may contact us at showmethestar.app@gmail.com to request information about international transfers and applicable safeguards, subject to applicable legal requirements.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining accounts, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, complying with legal obligations, and protecting security.

Retention periods depend on the type of information, the feature used, your account settings, applicable provider terms, and legal requirements.

5.1 Uploaded Media and AI Generation Inputs

We retain uploaded videos, images, audio recordings, voice samples, prompts, and related generation inputs for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested features and operate the Service, subject to applicable law and our technical processes.

When these materials are transmitted to third-party AI providers, the providers may retain or process them in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, service configurations, and applicable contractual arrangements. Retention periods and deletion practices may vary by provider and feature.

For example, certain providers may retain inputs and outputs for security monitoring, service delivery, voice-model functionality, CDN availability, or service improvement.

A deletion request submitted to us does not necessarily cause immediate or simultaneous deletion from every third-party system, backup, or underlying service.

We will handle deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and our own retention practices. We do not guarantee that every third-party provider will immediately delete all copies of information previously transmitted to it.

5.2 Generated Content

Generated Content may be retained so that you can access, manage, publish, or reuse it through the Service.

If you delete content or close your account, we will process the deletion request in accordance with applicable law and our retention practices.

Copies may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Deleting content from the Service may not remove copies previously downloaded, shared, or independently retained by other users or third parties.

5.3 Account and Transaction Records

We may retain account information, purchase records, Credit balances, fan support records, and related transaction information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain accurate records, address disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable tax, accounting, payment, and other legal requirements.

5.4 Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of personal information by contacting us at showmethestar.app@gmail.com or by using any deletion functionality made available within the Service.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may also retain certain information where permitted or required by law.

Where information has been shared with a third-party provider, we will address deletion as required by applicable law and our arrangements with that provider. We cannot guarantee that deletion from our systems will automatically result in immediate deletion from all third-party systems.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

These rights may include:

These rights are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.

To submit a request, contact us at showmethestar.app@gmail.com. Please identify the right you wish to exercise and provide sufficient information for us to verify and process your request.

6.1 Additional Rights for Certain U.S. Residents

Depending on your state of residence and the applicable law, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain certain personal information, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling activities where applicable.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for money. However, certain privacy laws may define sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar activities more broadly than an exchange of personal information for money.

If our activities fall within a legally defined category of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing, we will provide the disclosures and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

You may submit privacy requests using the contact details in Section 11.

Where required by law, you may appeal a decision we make regarding your privacy request by contacting us and identifying the decision you wish to appeal.

6.2 Additional Rights for EEA and UK Residents

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Depending on the circumstances, our legal bases for processing may include performing a contract with you, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate interests, or obtaining your consent.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests may include operating and securing the Service, preventing fraud, and improving functionality, subject to your rights and applicable law.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Where applicable law requires additional information about international transfers, recipients, retention, or legal bases, we will provide that information as required.

7. Security of Information

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information transmitted to third-party service providers may also be subject to the security practices and technical controls of those providers.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under our Terms of Service and applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the Service.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where collection is not permitted, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information or otherwise address the situation in accordance with applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of these requirements, please contact us at showmethestar.app@gmail.com.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, music distribution services, video platforms, and other services.

We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. If you access or use a third-party service, its privacy policy and terms will govern its collection and use of information.

For example, if you submit a YouTube or TikTok URL for reference-video functionality, or distribute Generated Content through a music streaming service or publish a video on a third-party platform, that platform may independently collect information about you and your content.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of services you use.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, data practices, third-party providers, legal requirements, or operational needs.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and post the revised Privacy Policy.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
